I recently visited Latina Cantina in Fairfield, CT, and was thoroughly impressed. While they open at 3 PM rather than noon, it’s well worth planning your visit accordingly. The interior is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an enjoyable dining experience.

The menu is incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality of the food—it’s truly elevated and sophisticated, far surpassing the offerings at Rio Bravo. I was particularly impressed with the happy hour menu, which offers fantastic options at great prices.

I ordered the cauliflower tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The cauliflower was fried to perfection, and the sauce was simply wonderful, adding a burst of flavor to every bite.

The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. This place truly deserves more customers—it's a hidden gem that more people need to discover!

Excellent customer service by our server Katelyn. She was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and prompt. We didn’t have to go looking for her when we wanted water or another beverage she was right there. She gave great recommendations on different dishes to try. The food was excellent. It wasn’t overly seasoned, dry, salty, or flavorless and it was very fresh. The restaurant was clean and decorated tastefully. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the near future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! FIVE STARS!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was amazing. My wife, myself and our friend went here on a Saturday night. We love that they have happy hour everyday! We had margaritas passion fruit and guava which were equally delicious. We all ordered different items. I got carne asada the meat was cooked to perfection and they were not cheap with the food. We also had street corn which wasn't served the traditional way but honestly was the best we ever had. We also had different kind of tacos all amazing. It had a great vibe, good music and amazing customer service. The only thing is that it's a smaller establishment so if you have a crowd that is a little loud it could be a bother for some.

We researched gluten free restaurants while traveling from Florida to CT and seen the top reviews so decided to stop and so glad we did. This place is everything and more. This place needs to relocate to Florida. As a Celiac, it was delicious, safe and service was great, a definite stop again on any return trips back to my home state. You locals are so lucky!

The tacos were absolutely delicious and the proportions were generous. However, I enjoyed them so much that I ordered seconds.🤷🏼‍♀️ The spicy taco was my favorite, although I tasted more bbq sauce than spice. The bartender VanCarlo was attentive and pleasant. The server with the cool blue hair was attentive and pleasant as well. (I’ll ask his name next time.) I will definitely return here in the immediate future.

The pina coloda machine was broken so I settled on a margarita. It was acceptable. I ordered a lemon drop which was on point. I hope to try their coloda one day, as it is my preferred frozen drink.

The only thing I disliked was the automatic tip. While I generally tip 20%, there are times that I tip higher, however, that will never happen when the tip is automatic vs my sole decision. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my dining experience very much.

The Verdict- Try the happy hour tacos- Baja, rock shrimp and spicy shrimp. Give this place a try, the tacos will not disappoint.

I went in on a Saturday and it was happy hour (I didn't go there purposely for happy hour) so I got the three taco special. The atmosphere and the staff was a delight and the food was great. I will be back.
