I came in here with my friend, She had a terrible experience. I happen to know the management team due to having the unfortunate opportunity to work with them.
They treated my friend like garbage. A "lady" named freda (short curly hair, glasses, native or hispanic) screamed at her from across the store that "I AM THE MANAGER!". This was all over mislabeled tuna.

On another occasion, we stopped in to grab some treats before heading to a gathering and this larger, short woman with glasses and long curly hair. was running the self check out. I was with one other person. We had two separate transactions, and we naturally used two different registers. She came up to me as i was ringing up my produce and proceeded to harass me about the produce i had, while touching my elbow and upper arm, i pulled away, and she stopped. I thanked her even though it was an unnecessary interaction. She then approached the person i was with and started harassing her about giving the store a high rating. The other person stated, "i give reviews based on performance and you are in my space," so she hit 3 stars. The cashier proceeded to say "well i don't want you to give us a rating if it's not 5 stars!" The other person i was with then gave the store a 1 star review.
It is easy to lose track of operations, especially during new business deals, and especially hard to micromanage 1000s of people. However, this job is not difficult. There is no reason they should be fishing so hard for good reviews. Stop harassing customers to leave good reviews and SCREAMING at customers for the stores mistakes. Instead, doing the job correctly with a good attitude and treating everyone, including coworkers with respect, would go a long way. Retraining and reminding workers that:
Customers don't work there
Customers are not obligated to figure out labels that the store doesn't put up correctly.
Bullying customers by invading personal space and touching them gets them absolutely no where. some people want zero physical contact even if it is innocent

The bathroom was disgusting. They need to paint the entryway/exit to make it more welcoming. Looks like I'm gonna catch something just walking in.

You know the fact that we spend so much money there and at Safeway, and to find out after reading the receipt that unless you go through the fricking HASSLE OF COUPON CLIPPIMG IN THEIR APP, you do not qualify for the adtertiswd prices in the store is infuriating! I’m done shopping there! I am not going to coupon clip to get savings I will just go elsewhere! Albertsons used to honor the prices advertised just by putting in your ph # guess not anymore. I’m so mad because I purchased items based on that advertised price!

The last time I visited Albertsons was right before Thanksgiving in 2019 and I was so happy and elated (almost in shock) because I found the absolute best deal for my Turkey and it was Honeysuckle if I remember correctly for (y'all hold onto your hats lol 😉) .49 cents a pound and my HUGE Turkey only I think it was $7.40 for a 20lb bird 😮😳😱👏❤💓
To say I was overwhelmed and overjoyed was an understatement!
The store was clean and I wish they still had the Original of the iced coffee of the International Delight but they were out of it and now I think the company stopped making the Original flavor because it can't be found anywhere, but I used to go to Albertsons and buy it by 4 cartons at a time because they had it at sometimes a better price than Walmart.
I would LOOOOVE it if this coming Holiday season they beat everyone else's prices for Turkey like they did in 2019 because I'd definitely shop there for my big holiday meal if so especially since our economy is so bad now in 2024 😔.
Thanks Albertsons for making that holiday so affordable for me!
