We come here at least once a year! The staff always very friendly and super kid friendly high recommended Hiwat Z she is absolutely wonderful and extremely kind, plus she does a very professional job and very well knowledgeable! The pastry absolutely tasteful, and the tea was just perfect, we recommend made the reservations with time and if possible stay at the hotel because the whole experience it’s perfect !

Found this place by accident and after talking with the hostess, decided to try the tea and the tower with sweets and finger sandwiches. The service was exceptional, I especially from the main waitress. Pricey, but worth it with a great experience in a beautiful hotel space.

Wonderful tea experience. Scones, desserts, and finger sandwiches were all great. We had the experience with champagne and their signature truffle. Both were excellent. The teas we had were palace grey and pineapple passion. So good, we bought tins to take home. Note though that the gift shop is open from 6am to 1pm.

For those individuals that are traveling to Denver and want to be part of a historic experience in downtown Denver, then set a date to have high tea at the Brown Palace Hotel. Such a great place for a parent to take their child or for friends coming together for a special occasion. You are pampered by sipping on the lovely tea, tasting delicious scones and delighting in the intricately made finger sandwiches. While you enjoy the conversation one can look around to marvel at the architecture of the main room where the high tea is served. The glass ceiling is breathtaking and the decorations for Christmas are stunning. Reservations are required well in advance, so be prepared if you have a getaway to Denver.

They serve Lavazza coffee, not good. They also made you use a credit card for a $3 coffee. One star off for each atrocity. Plenty of better places around for coffee.

While the tea and pastries were alright, I'm giving the experience two stars for how poorly the waitress handled giving information about food safety. I have a severe gluten allergy, but we knew that the menu had GF items so that's why we came. When we sat down, the waitress (a blonde haired woman wearing shiny nurse clogs) asked if we had any food allergies. I told her I was allergic to gluten and needed all my items made GF. She took our order and left the table.

I then proceed to begin eating the items already on the table (a lemon curd, whipped cream, etc) because she made no mention that these items were unsafe. She came back a few minutes later, after I'd already had a heaping spoonful of lemon curd, and says, "Oh, by the way, the lemon curd is not GF. I usually tell people beforehand..."

Well, I'd already eaten it at that point. Also, that should have been mentioned when she came to the table the first time and asked about allergies. She didn't seem the least bit bothered or apologetic that I'd just consumed something that would make me ill. It's a matter of food safety and as a person working in the food industry, she needs to be diligent about letting people know what's safe to eat when she becomes aware of allergies.

Anyways, I became violently ill that evening and was unable to sleep through the night. These symptoms last for days, so I'm intensely frustrated and will be notifying management.

We really enjoyed our high tea. It was as if we had been transported to London. Everything was exquisite! Lots of tea choices and the crumpet tower was delicious! My friend treated me for my birthday!
