Excellent Dinner and Great Atmosphere at Lagar de Isilla.
We visited Lagar de Isilla yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is spacious, with décor that perfectly matches its character and surroundings — elegant, warm, and full of personality. It’s also very comfortable, creating a relaxed dining atmosphere.
Service was excellent: professional, attentive, and efficient from start to finish.
We shared several dishes: the cured cheese was outstanding, full of flavor; the bread was fresh and delicious; and the calamares in Andalusian batter were perfectly cooked. The lechazo (roast lamb) was excellent — tender, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. We especially recommend the roasted pepper salad, which was a highlight.
For dessert, we tried the apple ice cream with walnuts, cheese, and compote, which was truly delicious — a creative and perfectly balanced finish to the meal.
Portions are generous, the wine is very good, and overall it was a great dining experience. The dining room was full on a Saturday night, so we recommend making a reservation.

There are many reasons I love Spain, but the food is certainly at the top of this list. El Lagar de Isilla was exactly what I needed after a long day of vineyard walks. Completely laid back and rustic with a very local feel, with classic preparations of the region, which happen to perfectly fit my diet and cravings. Perfectly prepared and seasoned--I left thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended for a hungry traveler!!!

One of the best and traditional restaurant in Aranda del Duero. All of the food was fantastic, the lechazo is excellent and you have to reserve it ahead of time. Carlos, our waiter, was great keeping sense of humor couple with an excellent service. Great place and experience. It is definitely a come back.

Dinner was top quality lamb. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff. This restaurant was recommended to us by the locals. We would certainly go back again and again

Absolutely an terrible experience . We had already a lunch reservation for our group of 6. After seating down in the back dining room, the rudest waitress came to the table to take the order . Her attitude was so bad it was almost comical . Many prior reviews post something similar , I can only assume is about the same waitress . When she came back with our drinks we attempted to add some items to our order and at that point she turned around and literally screaming told us she was busy . The while dining room turned to look at her, it was surreal. At that point our group decided to leave , and screaming she said we had to pay for the water and “2 bites” of bread we had eaten, which of course we did. On our way out I attempted complaining to the manager but was promptly dismissed and not even offered an apology. We found another great restaurant nearby with similar menu and great service . I strongly encourage everyone to stay away from this place

The place serves good food, large choices of food desserts prepared with high-quality. Their lamb is the specialty, but they have good quality seafood, and fish would definitely go back. Price is reasonable for the quality and portions of the food. They also have a large wine list I do recommend this place.

Excellent food from this region. The offer of different wines is really huge! Service very good and patient. Not to mention that the waiter didn’t push to eat more. Overall a superb experience. Also ask for visiting the “bodega”, the wine cellar. If you visit the bodega be aware that it is cold underground.

Excellent food and wine. Just a horrible welcome. The head waitress very aggressively said ‘“sorry, we’re full, no tables without reservation , not possible “ before we even said hello and without saying “good evening, do you have a reservation?”(basic greeting?) , which we had, well in advance
