I thought I’d stop in and try since I follow them on Facebook. Had the fried fish cod, sandwich and slaw. For the price I thought the fish was on the smaller side. You can tell by the picture I just turned the fish sideways and cut the bread in half and had half of a sandwich. The slaw tasted like spoiled sour milk and a little on the thicker side. The waitress did offer to exchange it for something else . It was about 1230 but I got seated pretty fast. Not a fan of sitting in darken restaurants that don’t have many lights, but I noticed several of the lightbulbs were out above me. The atmosphere is nice and clean and they were playing good music. servers were all friendly.

I don’t even know where to start. I paid $15 for a freezer burnt pizza. The service was incredibly slow (we were in a large party, so that could be part of it, but we were still here for over 3 hours). Our server truly tried her best. The main reason I am leaving a review is the sad excuse they have for a women’s bathroom. One stall has a double door, which does not lock or even latch (like a saloon door) with a large gap that you can see right through. The larger stall locks, but don’t let that fool you - I still got walked in on!!! There’s also a giant window that you can see right into the stall. Absolutely zero privacy in this disgusting, mold and sewage smelling bathroom. I’m laughing now but it was so uncomfortable. This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Cannot believe this place has over 4 stars 😬😬

First time here and will be back. Waitress (I believe it was Amy) was fantastic. We had pot stickers for appetizer..very good. My husband had the chicken piccata and said it was delicious. I had the greek pizza and it was so good. So many things on the menu we want to go back and try. Restaurant very cozy. Enjoyed bottle of wine, great food and fantastic music (Angela Combs). Great evening!

So my wife and I found this place coming from Cincinnati going to louisville. The service was great and the food was good. Not to pricey for a quick lunch. It's a great choice.

We were disappointed in this restaurant. Send out for a family dinner to celebrate the waitress seemed annoyed to have us there by her eye rolling. When asked to make a substitution due to a food allergy she said there was no way to accommodate that. After a little bit of back and forth, she said the kitchen may allow it for an up-charge. If you are in the food industry knowledge and respect about food allergies is extremely necessary. We won’t be back.

We've often grabbed a dinner here and have appreciated it as a neighborhood resource. This past weekend, though, we hosted a family event in their dining room, and for anyone who's looking for a nice place to put on a private event, I recommend them wholeheartedly. Colleen was meticulous in planning ahead with us, the food was all delicious, and everyone from preschool to senior citizens was a happy guest. The prices were all reasonable and the service was impeccable (shout out to Amy!) It was just perfect for our small-ish event. Many thanks, Grandview!

Great lunch spot for meetings or casual catch-ups!
I stopped into Grandview Tavern this week for lunch with a colleague, and it was exactly what we needed—great food, relaxed atmosphere, and not too loud, which made it perfect for conversation.

I ordered the Goetta Fly sandwich, and it was delicious—crispy, flavorful, and definitely something I’d come back for. The service was friendly and fast without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe was classic and welcoming.

Whether you’re meeting someone for business or just want a solid local lunch spot, Grandview Tavern delivers. I’ll definitely be back!
