Shared a wonderful leisurely late Saturday morning breakfast here with my son. The vegetable omelette was delightful- terrific nuance of flavor and lovely presentation, and the side of potatoes were crispy perfection! My son had the French toast which was also delightful! Great cappuccino- smooth and bold. I had been here for several superb dinner experiences but this was the first time trying breakfast, and I’m so glad we did!

I can't say anything bad about this dining experience. The service and food was fabulous. It's up there on the top of our list of all best! Started off with chilled beet salad, oysters, foccia bread, main dish steak, and Trout for my wife! Ended it with a vanilla latte and pavlova for dessert!

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Nicewonder. We checked in on Thanksgiving and had reservations at Hickory for dinner. They served an unforgettable traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I should have taken a picture of all the food when it came out. There were numerous options and everything was delicious. The ambiance in the Hickory is so cozy and the service that evening was fantastic. We plan on staying at the Nicewonder again in the future and look forward to another dinner at Hickory. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! I had a speaking engagement here last night and came back for breakfast because it’s such a beautiful place. Catering at dinner was excellent, breakfast delicious and fresh, staff was so friendly and top notch from 9/11 catering and 9/12 breakfast. Highly recommend

Good staff and good food, amazing atmosphere. Price for quality and quanitiy is off. Portions are small compared to the premium price. We dine all over the US and this resturant, from the outside, appears to be completely top notch. The execution is not on that level. The 75$ steak was good but not as good as you expect for paying double everything else on the menu. Fish and Chips lacked presentation pop but was good, same for the very small roasted chicken breast. I do not believe we will return based on value and overall quality/value ratio. We are more than happy to pay a premium for premium experience but this was somewhat lacking.

We had a wonderful meal with friends at Hickory! The atmosphere, drinks and meals all made for a memorable evening! The pork chops is a fabulous dish as well as the others! Be sure to enjoy some wine from their local vineyards as well! Definitely a level above other restaurants in the area!

Good atmosphere. Simple, tasteful décor. Excellent service. However, portions are skimpy and grossly overpriced. My chicken breast, (one breast!) and my husband's catfish were very good, but at $34 & $32 respectively, way over priced! Their Bristol wines lack depth and body. I had to try three wines, a merlot, a cabernet, and a Pinot Noir, before reluctantly settling on the cab. Disappointing. Would I go again? Yes, but only every couple of years.

My wife and I went to Hickory last night. She has celiac, and the restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating. The made an alteration on one of the entrees to ensure it was gluten free. We each had the chicken entree, the sprouts, and the gluten free cornbread. Everything was cooked incredibly well. 10/10
