Found this place while in Lawton and wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant. It’s located on the north side of the Lawton Mall.
We arrived around 6:30pm and there wasn’t much people there, should’ve be our first clue but we went anyways.

Wife and I were quickly seated, chips and salsa was brought out promptly. Chips are crisp but we both didn’t care for the salsa as it was more of a sweet flavored without any kick. The wife ordered the steak quesadillas which had plenty of meat in them but the cheese wasn’t too our liking.
I had the chicken soup / Caldo De Pollo, had good flavor with plenty of shredded chicken, zucchini, carrots and potatoes and some corn. It was served with rice, which was moist and delicious.
Service was slow as well. Just not for us but they succeed.

Return visit yesterday didn't disappoint. I had the Chimichanga meal, hubs had Chili Rellanos... and the chips and homemade salsa is the best!

Great drinks, chips and salsa. The mocajete was delicious. Id come back. The bartender was nice, she made me a margorona and one of the chefs/or other server may have asked me about my experience, appreciate that.

I'm not writing this review after 1 bad visit. We have went here twice once for lunch once for dinner. We get seated and get the chips,salsa and drinks in a timely manner. However once your drinks are dropped off and they take your order no one stops by to refill drinks or anything till your food comes out and on the last visit even then we didn't get refills and there was only 1 other table each time too so wasnt busy. The food is very bland and not really seasoned and I feel like for the price of the bill it should definitely taste alot better. Our favorite thing that we got was the chips and salsa. We definitely won't be going back a third time not just because the food wasn't great but also Theresa's 2 cockroach crawling on the wall when we were going to box up food. We left the food paid and left.
