A hidden gem in a college town! We stopped in because we arrived late at the hotel and needed dinner. We had a party with one person with many food allergies and one who eats gluten free, and two teenagers. Monty’s accommodated all of us, and gave us delicious food, even though it was almost time to close! My son said the burger was probably the best he’s ever eaten. Logan the manager told us it’s hand ground from local beef using 4 cuts. The food was so good we went back the next night, even though there is a town full of options. Logan welcomed us warmly and remembered our family, including our allergies and food requirements. Alfonso our waiter was so attentive. We never had an empty glass and he made sure everything was done to our liking. The highlights of the meals were definitely the burger, the salmon and the strip steak, and a really good veggie burger (lots of gluten free options as well), to go with the excellent service from Logan, Alfonso and Julia. I will definitely come back when visiting the area!

I thought the burger was quite good; really liked the beef blend of the patty. Maybe a tad too expensive (although who could say, I don't know how much it costs for them to buy ingredients. I just know everything tastes good.), but if you're staying in the hotel already, it's hard to beat the convenience and quality of Monty's.

Bar tender was a top lad and made me feel like a professional. Would be happy to return.

Husband and daughter enjoyed their food. However, I got a veggie burger with a gluten free bun. The bottom of the gluten free bun was rock hard, couldn’t bite into it and would not break when knocked on the the table. They would not give me a complete refund but did give me 35% back. Service was fantastic!

After a long drive, it was nice to settle in for a relaxing meal. I started with the broccoli and cheddar soup which was smooth and creamy. I then had the angel hair pasta which included very moist and tender grilled chicken, with a very tasty lemon caper sauce. My daughter had the caesar salad which had very tasty fried chicken. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

This place is outstanding! In a town full of culinary treasures this gem could be easily overlooked; it should not be overlooked. Stop in for a fine meal whether you are staying at Hotel Madison or not! I recommend the shrimp and grits, but be sure to check the specials for unique and well-crafted entrees.

This is a nice place to relax in after a long day at work. The place itself is tastefully decorated and the service was nice. Everything I ordered seems to be served on wood strange but nice. The deviled eggs were tasty and tangy and a good choice to start off with, next up, the baby back ribs small portions but well made. As for sides the mashed potatoes were, well, lumpy (as all good mash potatoes should be!) and the crispy Brussel Sprouts were like eating healthy ultra thin chips..As the kids say "they were most delicious" well done! My only real complaint is that if you are going to be a high scale restaurant and serve ribs have moist towels to clean the hands of your patrons , Napkins just won't cut it. Would I go there again? Yup, but only for special occasions.

Thanksgiving buffet was good. Not spectacular, but was not expecting that. It was good to get family together and not have to cook or do dishes. The cost on the website was what finalized our decision. $35 per person, can't beat that! But when the check arrived it was $48 per person. Apparently the price was adjusted shortly before the holiday. Without notice to the people who made reservations weeks in advance. We were able to cover it, but know that some families would have been in a pickle! And bottom line is it only hurts the server. Our server, Logan, was awesome! We would have loved to have given him a tip over the 20% that was automatically added to the check. But 8 people at $48, it's too much. It would have been better to have been informed ahead of time and not surprised at the end of the meal.
