Lovely place with a family feel, dishes that are generous and well made, and a very wide menu of beers, wines, liquors and teas. Really enjoyed it and I can see why this place is highly rated. The house salad was particularly interesting and tasty (like a caesar salad but with cherry tomatoes and corn, and in an edible bread bowl).

Amazing food in a beautiful setting, the atmosphere is so relaxing we felt so lucky to have stumbled into this restaurant. If you’re driving by during your travels, you absolutely must try it out! It was a sunny hot day so we had two cold & refreshing coca colas and shared a plate of Revuelto del Abuelo which consisted in different types of sausages and pork meat placed on top of a bed of sliced potatoes, we were also served a bread basket. You order at the bar and pay beforehand, they then serve you the food either in their dining hall or their lovely terrace.

Charming place. Food was delicious. Not the Spanish cuisine that I’m familiar but who am I to judge as I’m just a tourist. We had the Manchego ratatouille with egg and croutons, Migas ruleras (Bread crumbs fried in the oil from the bacon slices. Served with grapes, melon, pork belly and chorizo), Ajo de mataero (a Manchego pate made with pork liver, breadcrumbs and spices, garnished with pork belly and pine nuts), and Gazpacho manchego (Rabbit meat stew with pieces of Manchegan cenceña bread cake). Having tasted these, I’m sure the other dishes would be as delicious, but we only had 5 mouths to feed. Highly recommended if you’re in the Chinchilla area. There’s a petrol service nearby so it’s a good place to fill up the tank and stomach.

I tried the migas (fried bread crumbs with meat and fruits), atascaburras (a kind of specially cooked mashed potatoes with toppings), and the manitas (pig's hands). The food were really good! There were many people coming shortly after we arrived, and I think it would be best to make a reservation before coming in especially if you are with a big group.

More and more family run places are disappearing but this place is alive and kicking with lines out the door and once you have eaten here, you fully understand why people are waiting. We were lucky, we waited about 20 minutes. The place was packed. The waiters were moving around non stop but always in a good mood and a smile. The food is delicious. Some of the recipes are from the grandmother of the current manager and the the Rincón Brava is a must. The entrecote was fantastic, great quality and perfectly cooked. The desserts are home made. The food came out fast. There was not a single thing I could complain about. We normally don't tend to travel in this direction for holidays but we are looking for excuses to return.

Had breakfast one day and lunch another day. Both were very satisfying and tasty. For lunch, we had Atascaburra and Pisto Manchego, both local food. Delicioso! The service was friendly and the price was very affordable. Will be back before we leave Chinchilla.

Nice town restaurant, great food
