Estuve de vacaciones por Philadelphia y tenía que coger el tren hacia la zona donde está este restaurante y fuimos dos veces es y nos encantó el personal fue amable aunque no hablen español hicieron el mayor esfuerzo por entendernos y nos ayudaron cuanto lo necesitábamos de verdad os recomiendo ir. I had a great meal at Stargate Diner! The interior is much nicer than you’d expect from the outside — very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff seemed genuinely happy, and the whole vibe of the place was positive and welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends.

The only small issue I had was with the way I read the menu. I ordered two eggs with bacon and asked to add corned beef hash. I saw a note on the menu that said “add corned beef hash for $1.99,” so I thought that meant I was simply adding it to the plate for $1.99. But I later realized that $1.99 is the substitution cost — to swap the bacon or sausage for corned beef hash. What I ended up ordering was a full side of corned beef hash at $5.99 in addition to the bacon.

That’s completely on me — I misread the menu — but I do think a little more clarity could help avoid confusion. Maybe the wording could be changed slightly, or staff could double-check with customers who order that way. When the bill came, I was surprised by the extra charge, but not enough to make a fuss over it — just something to note for next time.

Overall, though, this place is excellent. Don’t let the outside fool you — the inside is fantastic, and the food and service are top-notch. A real hidden gem. Five stars!

Stargate Diner has very professional staff members that are very knowledgeable about the menu if customers have questions. The Diner has quick and accurate service. Definitely worth a visit. Keep up the good work 👍

Huge cheeseburgers here, good quality. Solid corned beef sandwiches as well. Friendly and attentive waitstaff.

After spending the majority of our night Dashing, the Husb and I decided to stop in here for some breakfast. It's our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. We ordered the Country Omelette and the Baked Meatloaf. Our sides were Applesauce, Potato Salad, and Coleslaw. Sooo yummy!!! 🍱

*Great service! Gina was very professional, composed, sweet, kind, and covered the entire dining area. 😊

*There was a group of 6 that were seated next to us, and they were horrible towards the server and the rest of the staff. They were loud, rude, drunk, and foul-mouthed. Because of one kitchen mistake, the group decided to pack up their unpaid orders, and walk out on their $135 check. I hope karma comes back to them. 😡

But in all seriousness, we had a great time at the Stargate Diner. Please be kind to your service staff. The customer isn't always right, remember the Golden Rule with every person you interact with... 💟
